Upata Pays Last Respect As Christian Uwame is Buried

The Igbu Upata people converged at Odiabidi Town on Friday to pay their last respect as the remains of Christian Uhugbuom Jaller Uwame was committed to mother earth in Upata.

Until his death, he was the Nye Udu Ula Odiabidi and Chairman of Igbu Upata Council of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs.

Uwame was described as committed in upholding the sanctity of Upata Kingdom and Ekpeye at large.

Present at the funeral ceremony was HRM Felix Enene Otuwarikpo who led a procession of titled Chiefs, Community Heads and other well meaning Upata people in honour of their late chairman.
