Buhari Swears In Tanko Muhammad As Chief Justice Of Nigeria

Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad has been sworn in as the substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The swearing-in, which took place at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja on Wednesday  had the Tanko took his oath of office and pledged not to allow personal interests override his official decisions in office.

Before this time, Tanko was appointed as acting CJN in January 2019 after Justice Walter Onnoghen was suspended based on false declaration of asset.
