President Muhammadu Buhari has told the leadership of the National Assembly during a dinner on Thursday night in Abuja that he is under pressure to uncover his ministerial nominees.
The president make this known as he reacted to a widespread call on him to form his cabinet.
“I am very much aware about it and I am under tremendous pressure on it,” he said.
President Buhari added, “The last cabinet which I had, most of them, a majority of them I didn’t know.
“I had to accept their names and recommendation from the party. I worked with them for three and a half years.”
However, the President explained that the delay was tied to the fact that he needed to nominate people he knows personally and can work with.
