International Bible Training College To Hold Maiden Matriculation In Port Harcourt

The International Bible Training College (IBTC), affiliated to Anchor University is poised to hold its maiden Matriculation Ceremony on Saturday at the Deeper Life Camp Ground, Rumuodara in Port Harcout, Rivers State.

The ceremony is coming barely five months after it received an approval for full institutional affiliation for the award of Diploma in theology.

In a brief interview with OKB News Online, the College Rector, Pastor (Dr.) Offion Okon Asukwo said, “Tomorrow will mark a significant mile post in the history of IBTC.  It will be a day for the College’s maiden matriculation ceremony.

“Already the stage is set and we are putting finishing touches today.  It is hoped that after this event, subsequent admissions will be greatly enhanced.”

Multipurpose Hall, venue of the Maiden Matriculation Ceremony of IBTC. It is hoped to be full to its capacity on Saturday.

Speaking on the expectation of the institution, Dr. Offiong said, “I believe that God is going to use this College to train evangelists, teachers and pastors for the Church.

“We look forward to receiving high calibre leaders from all walks of life including invited guests”, he noted.
