Dominica Experiences Two Earthquakes Within Days

Dominica Republic was hit by two separate earthquakes within one week. 

The first earthquake, which hit the island on January 8 was a  5.2 quake and occurred off the southern coast of Dominica and was felt on several islands.

The second took place took place today and measured 3.3 on the Richter Scale.

However, Trinidad-based University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre (UWI-SRC) gave the confirmation, stressing that the quake was measured at the depth of 15 kilometres.
